Thera-Band resistive exercisers have been clinically proven in use for over 30 years to improve strength, range of motion, balance, and functional activities in many different patient populations. The Thera-Band Academy also provides research and education for the use of all Thera-Band products. Each color will provide a specific amount of resistance at the same percent elongation, regardless of initial resting length. General Safety advise as listed by manufacture: Don't use the band in any way that it may snap towards the head face or eyes. Inspect the band before each use for signs of damage or wear. Remove all jewellery to prevent damage to band or catching. Do not over stretch band. If using in pools wash immediately after use. Children should not be left unsupervised while using this product. It is also recommended by the manufacture to wear eye protection as old, warn and over stretched bands can snap without warning. Once dry talc can be applied if desired. Store in a cool place away from direct sunlight or heat.
